Rebuilding lives in Utah & Syria

Rebuilding Communities.

Renewing Hope.

Rebuild & Renew Foundation grew out of one family's journey from war in Raqqa to a new life in Utah. Today we walk with families in Utah and Syria through housing, education, healthcare, and orphan care—inviting you into a story of loss turning into lasting hope.

Foundation

Rebuild & Renew launched in 2024.

Rebuild & Renew Foundation was founded by Aesa and Suzanne Oso, a husband-and-wife team whose lives were forever changed by the war in Syria. After fleeing Raqqa to escape ISIS and living in a refugee camp, Aesa began serving children through simple acts of hope—like organizing sports and learning English.

Suzanne met Aesa while working in that same camp in 2016. Their shared commitment to serve refugee families eventually led them to Utah, where they now raise their daughter and lead Rebuild & Renew—designing projects, overseeing grants, and carefully stewarding every gift.
